About
About StressSkin
StressSkin covers the relationship between psychological stress and skin health. We started the site because a single trending phrase, “cortisol face,” was generating enormous interest without a clear, sourced explanation of what is actually known. Our goal is to be the place that separates the two clearly, every time.
We are not a clinic and we do not diagnose. Nothing on this site should be treated as personal medical advice. Where we describe research, we link the underlying study or clinical source directly rather than paraphrasing a headline about it.
Editorial Policy
- Every health claim is linked to a cited source: a peer-reviewed study, a clinical body, or a named expert.
- We avoid absolute language like “cures” or “eliminates.” Where evidence is preliminary, we say so.
- Any page with product recommendations carries a visible affiliate disclosure at the top.
- We update articles when new research changes the picture, and note the revision date.
How We Make Money
StressSkin does not sell products directly. When we recommend a specific product, we may earn a commission through an affiliate program if you purchase it, at no extra cost to you. See our affiliate disclosure for details. Commission potential never determines which products we recommend.
